Reaching Out

More items have been added to the family's Amazon registries. It is beyond overwhelming the amount of people reaching out and asking what they can do to help. I'm so grateful for the inspiration my family had to make a list which then became an Amazon registry. It has helped give us an answer to all of you amazing people who ask what you can do to help. It has given me a task that makes me feel like I'm able to help Whitney, Kyle, Pepper, Kade, Emree and Krew. It has created organization out of chaos. Life continues to teach me that no single person is above heart ache and pain. God knew this life would be difficult and yet he sent us anyway knowing the growth would be greater than the pain it takes to get there. Just like a seed who has to break out of a hard situation (hard shell and complete darkness) the after math is more beautiful than we ever could have imagined. There is more growth in affliction. There is more Christ like love and comfort in affliction. There is more understanding and patience. As I reflect upon the aid that has been rushed to our family these last few days I am humbled to be on the receiving end. Can I just say that I am in awe at the love and faith that is left in the world. 1000's of people known to us and unknown have quite literally rallied to the Copeland family's aid. I'd like to invite each of you to keep the change. Keep saying your prayers, keep calling to heaven for miracles, keep being kind, keep ministering to others, keep serving strangers, keep giving of your excess, keep sharing, keep being compassionate, keep reflecting on other peoples burdens and find ways to lighten them, keep stepping out of your comfort zone to lift weary souls, keep creating safe havens, keep putting others before yourselves. Look at the good humanity is doing for this family. Look at what has come of such a terrible thing. This family is rising from the ashes only because you all are being Christ's hands and lifting them. Let's keep the change, let's implement this level of love and empathy in our daily lives and spread it to make this world better. Please continue to help, the Copeland's and others around you. Miracles are taking place because of all of your faith.
